Natures Gift

Come here my child, let me wrap you,

For you are unique, no matter how one sees you,

Let their minds flounder living in their cocooned hive,

Their disdain is unworthy, so forget the sneers and the jibes,

For not living to their set standard and not being one of their tribe,

Let them be blind, living in their ignorant bliss-ed state of mind,

Till they see you wrapped in these colors of mine,

Come here my child, let me wrap you,

For you are unique, no matter how one sees you,

When you blossom, unwrap yourself in the light divine,

Spread your wings and dance to the breeze with these petals of thine,

Let the eyes wonder, seeing the sparkle of your shine,

Come here my child, let me wrap you,

For you are unique, no matter how one sees you,

Remember the task at hand, as you carry my seed,

Propagating diversity and growth, preserving my creed,

Protected and wrapped in these sepals, you are God’s gift indeed.
